If you’re interested in having lots of fun and excitement you’ve found the right place! Welcome to the Adirondack Karting Association (AKA) website.

AKA is a non profit organization that was formed in the early 90’s by a group of area racing enthusiasts. These are individuals that love motorsports, however prefer to participate rather than observe. Their goal was to develop a competitive racing venue that was affordable and the whole family could enjoy.

AKA is a kart club made up of individuals and families that enjoy the competitive atmosphere that racing provides. The club has as many as 8 classes competing on race day, offering a variety of races from 5 years old and up.

The club hosts 12 to 15 races a year on a 1/8th mile asphalt oval track located at the Saratoga County Fairgrounds in Ballston Spa, NY. This is one of the most exciting asphalt tracks in the state, as the lead is often exchanged several times before the winner is determined. At the end of the day awards are given to the top three finishers in each class. "For club members", points are also awarded at each race and at the end of the season class champions are crowned.

Admission is free to the spectator areas so you have no excuses not to check it out. Food & soft drinks are also available throughout the day so there is no need to pack anything, just show up and enjoy.
